Uncertain Updates: February 2025

This is not a normal update.

My mom died unexpectedly. She was a healthy 72 year old, but contracted bacterial meningitis. It moved fast. She went from herself to brain dead in a week.

I’m working on a longer post about it. I’m not sure when it will be out.

The book is still coming along, but progress has slowed as grief moves through me. I hope to get back to the book soon. Chapter 2 is nearly done after a complete rewrite, but needs some final polish that will probably take several more hours over a few sessions.

I miss my mom. Don’t take anything for granted.
